The spherical roller bearings have two rows of curved rollers and a sphered outer ring raceway, the two raceways of the inner ring are inclined at an angle with respect to the axis. This structure allows the bearing to have self-aligning properties and is suitable for applications with installation errors or shaft deflections. The bearing can support high radial load as well as axial load from both directions, and is suitable for vibration and shock applications.
UBC's spherical roller bearings are available with CC, CA, MA, MB designs based on different cage materials and working conditions. Optimized design and advanced technology makes effective contact rate between roller and inner and outer ring raceway over 90%.
